We believe a cigar only comes into its own when it is kept properly. That is why we stock humidors lined with Spanish cedar throughout, built to hold their internal climate steady — not approximately, but measurably.

Why proper storage decides everything

A cigar is a natural product that keeps living. Tobacco takes up moisture and releases it again, and that movement determines how your cigar will draw, burn and taste. The working range is 65 to 75 percent relative humidity. A humidor keeps your collection inside that band, day after day. That gives you:

• Flavour and aroma retained: the essential oils stay in the wrapper, where they belong.
• Protection against drying out: no hard, brittle cigars that crack while you smoke them.
• No mould: the upper limit is held as firmly as the lower one, so your boxes stay safe.
• An even burn: a cigar at the right humidity draws more easily and burns more evenly.
• Ageing over years: a stable climate lets flavours develop rather than flatten.
• Spanish cedar: buffers moisture, lends the cigar its characteristic scent and keeps tobacco beetles away.

This category holds three kinds of humidor, each with its own way of managing the climate:

• Electric humidors: sixteen models from Raching and Afidano that measure humidity and temperature continuously and correct actively. The Raching MON series also weighs how fast the reading is moving, so the climate overshoots less and recovers faster — which matters more the longer you store.
• Adorini humidor cabinets: twelve classic cabinets that work passively. A humidifier releases moisture, the cedar takes it up and gives it back.
• Desktop humidors: compact Adorini models for a modest stock, or for a first serious humidor.

Capacity is the main thing to get right. Do not size for your current stock but for your consumption multiplied by your ageing period: smoke a few boxes a year and rest them for three, and you are holding three vintages at once. Allow headroom, because a full cabinet has less air to absorb swings when the door opens.

Maintenance that matches your choice

How much work a humidor takes depends on its humidification system. Models with a membrane filter need attention every quarter: replace the filter and refresh the distilled water. The Raching MON series works without a membrane filter and has no such interval. Replacement filters are under Filters & maintenance.
