Welcome to Filters & maintenance. Here you will find the replacement filters and consumables for Raching humidification systems. Small items, but decisive for how your humidor performs.

A membrane filter is not an accessory but a wearing part. It takes up distilled water and releases it evenly into the cabinet. Once it is saturated or fouled, that release becomes irregular — and eventually you taste it.

Why replacing on time matters

The humidification system determines how much maintenance a humidor needs. On models with a membrane filter that is a fixed rhythm: every quarter, replace the filter and refresh the distilled water. What that gives you:

• Consistent moisture release: a fresh filter distributes moisture evenly, keeping humidity within the 65 to 75 percent band.
• No deposits in the tank: timely replacement prevents scale and residue that interfere with operation.
• Clean aroma: a fouled filter can release odours that the tobacco absorbs.
• Predictable upkeep: four times a year, no more than that.
• Distilled water only: never use tap water — the minerals in it shorten filter life considerably.

Does your humidor work without a membrane filter?

It may well. The Raching MON series uses a copper membrane rather than a replaceable filter and has no such interval. If you are unsure which series you have, check the display or the manual — or simply ask us.
