The S.T. Dupont Red Gas Refill is the officially recommended refill for several of the most popular models in the S.T. Dupont lineup. With 30 ml of extra-purified butane gas per can—free of all traces of oil and tar—you can ensure that your lighter continues to perform at its best and that the flame remains clean and reliable.

The red case (REF 900435) is compatible with the following S.T. Dupont lighters: the Le Grand, the Ligne 1 Large, the Ligne 2 Cling (C016XXX), the Ligne 2 Slim (017XXX), the Jéroboam table lighter, and the Cylindrique table lighter. The case is reusable and can be used multiple times.

Use only genuine S.T. Dupont gas refills. S.T. Dupont has adjusted the gas to the specific pressure that ensures optimal operation of the ignition mechanism. Generic gas refills can disrupt the flame calibration and, over time, damage the refill valve.

What color gas refill do you need?

S.T. Dupont lighters use four different gas pressures, each indicated by a color: red, yellow, blue, or green. The color you need is indicated on the inside of the sealing cap on your lighter’s refill valve. Unscrew the cap and check the color indicator before ordering a refill.

How do you refill your S.T. Dupont lighter?

Let the gas tank empty completely before refilling it—this prevents impurities from remaining in the tank. To do this, use the included screwdriver to push in the filling nipple until no more gas escapes. Next, hold the gas canister upside down over the filling valve and press firmly for 5 seconds. Then let the lighter acclimate to room temperature for at least 2 minutes before lighting the flame.

The Ligne 2 Cling models with reference number C016XXX and the Ligne 2 Slim (017XXX) are both compatible with the red gas refill REF 900435.
